LABRADOR RETRIEVER WATERCOLOR SKETCH SHEILA WEDEGIS DAY 24 ,2012

"HUH???"

A fun watercolor and gouache sketch. I did a bubble series ages ago and it was so much fun. I may explore them further.

Painting along, juggling commissions, projects, and my own inventions. Dinner with Roger and playing with the Labs.

Thanks for looking. If you are interested in getting your pet "bubbled" send me a message.

SWEDEGIS ACRYLIC ORIGINAL PAINTING DAY 14, 2012

"BLUE DOOR, WICK, SCOTLAND".

I'm 24 minutes past day 14...my excuse? We watched the Patriots playoff game!!!

This door was at the bottom of a skinny street in Wick and it absolutely fascinated me. I had to paint it.. It was rainy and cold and I loved the play of light on the wet street.

8.5" x 6" acrylic on watercolor board.
$100.00 shipping included... and the Pat's won!!!

SWEDEGIS WATERCOLOR ORIGINAL PAINTING DAY 13, 2012

"MY MUSE"

10" x 5.50" watercolor on 300lb paper

Yes it's an older Painting. I'm working non stop on a way passed due project that needs to be finished this coming week for sure. It's hanging on me like a rock. (The guilt)

I did take lunch out with a fellow artist for 2 hours and stopped by GoodWill. I was standing holding this really fun tweed jacket and a woman at the counter who was having a tough time getting her items returned and new items processed, grabbed my jacket and bought it with her things so the amount was correct on her returned items. She then handed me the jacket and said Happy New Year!! A super fun thing!!!

I found a woman on etsy who remodels jackets to be funky and fun so I'm thinking that's where my new found gift will go. woohoo!!!

$100.00 shipping included  Thanks, Sheila

SWEDEGIS ACRYLIC ORIGINAL PAINTING DAY 9, 2012

"SO ,IF THE WIND BLOWS JUST A BIT MORE..."

It was hard getting a good photo and color for some reason today.  The ball is definitely yellower. Sigh.

He plots and plans in order to make the best choice for getting that ball. Sometimes he will jump, other times he uses his paw to bring it closer so he can grab it with his mouth. Wise boy!!

Golden Open Acrylic on Ray Mar canvas panel.

SWEDEGIS ACRYLIC ORIGINAL PAINTING DAY 7, 2012

 "DIVE,DIVE'

When our Sammy dives he does a spread eagle into the pool. Nose first!!

Decided this needed to be captured on an 8" x 10" canvas rather a smaller panel so I could get the impact I needed.  It makes me smile when I see this.

10" x  8" Golden Open Acrylics on stretched canvas.

SWEDEGIS ACRYLIC ORIGINAL PAINTING DAY 2

"AND THIS MY BOY IS A TENNIS BALL"

Well day 2 o! f the New Year and so far so good.  I love the way the paint moved in this painting.  I do know the subjects quite well of course and it does help. I always tell my students to FEEL their pets if they are able as they draw or paint. You really get to know your subject, the turn of the paw, the slope of the neck.  Bonus is they like it too.

6" x 8" Golden Open Acrylics on RayMar canvas board.
   $100.00 free shipping.

Again if any extra comes up on your purchase I will refund you instantly.
Thanks you for looking and feel free to let your friends in on the fun. If you want to see your pet on here let me know.
