SWEDEGIS OIL ORIGINAL PAINTING DAY 31, 2012

"MY LITTLE CORNER OF THE WORLD"

Today I joined a Plein air group here in Brevard County. We met by the Causeway Bridge by the Inter-coastal  and started to paint.  While I was working the white Crane flew in and stood on the rock. I sketched him in with white paint then went back to work on the rocks. Dark against light, back and forth.

This painting is oil on gessoed masonite panel. I did an under painting of red/orange acrylic so that it would come through in places that I glazed.

SWEDEGIS ACRYLIC ORIGINAL PAINTING DAY 8, 2012

"CUDDLES"

Oh sweet babies. They play hard and rough then settle and sleep together.  Of course what you are not seeing is the mess on the floor after they have brought everything from the outside in! That's why God invented brooms and tile floors I guess. Thankfully.

This painting is Golden Open Acrylics and is painted on an 8" x 6" RayMar canvas panel.
